How the Closing Coach handles your information.
What we collect
When you sign in, we store the account details needed to log you in (your name and school email address). As you work through a module, we save the conversations you have with the Coach so you can pick up where you left off.
Who can see your conversations
Your saved conversations are visible to you and to the faculty teaching your course. Faculty use them to see how you are working through the material and, where appropriate, to give feedback. Other students cannot see your conversations.
Why we keep them
Conversations are kept so the Coach can continue an ongoing session and so your instructors can review your work. They are not sold or used for advertising.
How long we keep them
Conversations are retained for the duration of the course and then deleted on a schedule the firm sets. If you have a question about your data, contact your instructor.
The AI behind the Coach
The Coach is powered by a third-party AI service, which processes the text of your conversation to generate its replies. That service is configured not to use your conversations to train its models.
